    Salt / sodium question

I am new here and trying to figure this all out.
I want to add more salt to my diet and can't find anything that says if I should use salt that is iodized or not.
Also, why is sea salt preferred?
I was shopping for sea salt today and they had with and without the iodine.

This is what I have seen Viene post before-

Iodine can have an antiestrogenic effect. There have been things about it in regards to breast cancer and fibrocystic breasts. I am not sure if there is a certain amount that would make a difference though swaying wise. It is thought to be able to convert the more powerful forms of estrogen to not so potent forms. Everyone needs iodine anyway otherwise there are other problems that can occur so no one should restrict their iodine!

Morton's Sea Salt is non-iodine. That is what I have.

Iodized salt may also lower pH a bit, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
