Dh took too much zinc!!!

Just wondering If this will affect sway? It was just one day but he took 40 mg. I'm hoping one day won't be a problem but thought I'd make sure. Thanks oh and I'm about 12 days from sway give or take.

One day is ok, his body can handle that. It's when it's day in, day out over time. (exception would be if he took like hundreds or thousands of milligrams of course - that would be bad!!)

Hi AS, I've just noticed this... My husband takes zinc and lysine regularly to keep cold sores away - he gets them badly if he doesn't.

Is this no good? :-/

Normal doses of zinc 25 g or so are fine for DH (you should stick with smaller doses liek 8-15 mg). Megadoses of zinc, like 50 mg (which they tell peopel to take on IG) are too much and can add up when taken day in and day out.

Question - is he taking l-arginine? That may be the reason why his cold sores are so active - the virus that causes l-arg really flares up with l-arginine. EVne foods that have a lot of l-arg. can cause it to flare up.

They cannot understand that the reason why swaying works is not because "a sways this way and b sways that way" but because overall health, fertility, and sperm numbers numbers sway, and the sway tactics are just ways to help our bodies.

A reasonable amount of zinc helps sperm count, but more is not better. Too much zinc could even sway pink by being bad for health.
