    Confused Antibiotics and TTC??

I have yet another sinus infection and have a course of antibiotics which lasts for 10 days. I get them frequently I am trying in December but worried that excess antibiotics may affect my sway, or even trying to conceive?! What are your thoughts? I know they say it helps the pH but what if your having to have them more often would it have adverse affects?

Antibiotics have nothing to do with TTC, they can't affect your fertility.
Having antibiotics often when swaying for a is a bonus Imho You have plenty of time til December.

Adverse effect on pH may happen if you're using them for too long so they suppress your normal intestinal flora ( 'friendly bacterias') which can lead to Candidiasis ( low pH) and/or diarrhea, but 10 days is just not long enough for that lol!

Oh thrush, I couldn't remember the word! I'm so sorry you have it, it sucks!!! I have had it quite often before switching a year ago to boy life style.

    Antibiotics can cause thrush!!

They can affect DH fertility negatively by lowering sperm count over the course of time. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1991524

I wouldn't worry about it too much though, if you need them, it's better for your sway than being sick!!!

At least one doctor believes that antibiotic therapy may help some women with infertility so it must not affect fertility negatively!! http://www.fertilitysolution.com/Fer...arenthood.html
