How important is l carnitine and l arginine for sway?
Starting sway prep this month and hubby isn't on board with taking l carnitine and l arginine- according to him they have too many risks and warnings/body builders take them etc. I don't know, he went on about it and doesn't seem comfortable.
Are these two pretty high common factors in successful sways?
Daily He'll be on:
centrum men's multi vitamin
400 iui vitamins D (centrum has 800)
Probiotic
Omega 3 with epa/dha 900 mg
Daily I'll be on:
Materna (1000 iui folic, 400 iui vit d)
400 or 800 iui vitamin D
Prenatal iron (1 mg iron, 500 folic)
Probiotic
Omega 3 with EPA/DHA
Is there anything else that's recommended? Any additional sups to try the week of O?DD 2017

It's not important at all and I'd not worry about him taking it at all. My husband never took them and we have 4 boys. Only men who have super low testosterone/sperm count absolutely NEED to take them (and probably not even then.)

Thank you atomic for your reply !!!!!
DH has no diagnosis of low T but sometimes I wonder if he does have low T due to common googled signs/symptoms. Would a regular doctor be able to order a routine blood test for T or would that only be from a fertility specialist if we are having issues?
My order of pills has come in so this is the plan, if you can please advise me on what you think of the amounts- also some questions if you or
Others have any opinions:
?should I take 800 iui vitamin D total or 1200 iui (pills are in 400 iui form)- DH will have 1000 iui.
?should I start taking the iron supplement with 400 mcg folate everyday instead of every other day? Is 2400 mcg daily folate too much?
?what do you think of the immune boost vitamin C pill, both Dh and I used to take this daily but I can either get rid of it or take it 1,2 or 3x a week instead?
1000mg vitamin c
120mg calcium
Zinc 4mg
?what do you think of natures bounty hair skin and nails vitamin? I used to take 2 of these a day/sometimes every other day. I can cut down to 1, switch to every few days etc or just get rid of them:
7.5 mg vitamin C
3.38 mg AT vitamin E (7.5 iu)
1250 mcg Biotin
DW Daily:
1. Materna multi (contains 27mg iron, 1 mg folate, 400 iui vitamin D)
2. probiotic
3. omega 3 EPA/DHA 500mg
4. vitamin d 400 iui
5. 1mg folate
DW every other day add in:
1. B12 1200 mcg
2. Ferrasorb (36 mg iron, 15mg vitamin c, 5mg B6, 400 mcg folate, 300 mcg B12)
DH daily:
1. men's centrum multi (800 iui vit D)
2. Omega 3 500mg
3. Ester C vitamin C (1000mg vitamin C, 120mg calcium, 4mg zinc)
4. ProbioticDD 2017

No any doc can do a testosterone test (and in fact it's quite a trendy thing to do right now.) But honestly, I don't think it's necessary and since he does not want to take them anyway, I would probably not bother. Remember, "if daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" and the more we ask him to do, the more he's going to rebel at it.
1200 IU Vit. D is great.
2400 mg folate is not too much but let's keep the iron supp at every other day anyway just because I don't want you to get too much iron, either.
I don't like the Immune Boost C because 1000 mg Vit C may not be safe for pregnancy and some say it sways pink.
Take one of the hair vitamins every other day. Biotin is a gray area and the Materna already has 100% in it. More and more vitamins are cramming biotin into them (Women's one a day has more than I would prefer lately too) but if we can avoid taking a higher dose, let's do that.
Everything else is looking fine to me.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
