Huge congrats! Centrum is a fine prenatal and has everything Elevit does. I think you guys should just continue taking what you've been on but if you want to wean from one to the other, that's fine, just do it gradually over the course of a few weeks rather than suddenly dropping from one to the other.
Yes continue the extra folate all thru the first trimester and then gradually wean off by spacing doses further and furhter out till down to one per day, then you can drop them.

Hi Atomic, im curently 6weeka 2 days had my first ultrasound to confirm dates all was good we saw a heartbeat too.
However, i have been admited to hospital with hyperemis gravidum (hope i spelt it correct). I had 2 IV drips as i was dehydrated. They also gave me 2 medicines. Ondansetron which did nothing. Then they gave me metoclopramide (maxalon). This took the edge off but not 100% it also wares off after a short few hours and i have to take it again. I am really bad, i camt eat or drink without having to vomit. I cant go to work and even struggling with day to day activities. Do you have any suggestions? I have been reading that acupuncture might help so im thinking of calling somewhere tomorrow to make an appointment. Have you heard of anyone else experience this and can provide some help. Thanks

Yes lots of us have had HG. I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling with it. I didn't ahve HG but did have severe morning sickness and what worked best for me was sucking very sour candy all day. These kind of tricks usually don't help much with HG, but maybe coupled with the medication it can get you through. I would just eat whatever you think you can keep down, even if it's ice cream or soda pop. You just want to stay hydrated and keep some calories moving through.
I hope it eases off for you very soon.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
