with DS 1,2,3 and 4 i knew nothing about swaying, had never used opk's or tracked my cycle in any way, we just used to dtd unprotected right through the month, no real pattern to it but dh has a high sex drive so id say it was probably on average around every 2-3 days.
with DS5 i was swaying pink and we dtd every 4 days mon-fri-tues pattern so he was 1 attempt in fertile window.
i'll add ive conceived 3 girls, DD1 was with the same bd pattern as the first 4 boys, DD2 and DD3 were both one attempt.now 6blue5pink

Thank you ladies. Sounds like timing isn’t much of a factor! Does dtd every other day through ovulation along with HE diet sound ok for a boy sway?

DS 1 - had two unprotected BD with a 3+ day cutoff, and a couple others with protection
DS 2 - had several unprotected BD with a 3+ day cutoff (my husband changed his mind about trying days before O ) We always had lots of unprotected sex when I wasn't in fertile window
DS 3 - had 2-3 unprotected BD with a 2-3 day cutoff (trying for Shettles) and we always had lots of unprotected sex when not in fertile window
DS 4 - was a sneak attack, no idea when we got him, but I remember clearly 2 BD around the time I'd have gotten pregnant, and we always had lots of unprotected sex when not in fertile window
DD (mentioning since it was quite different) - one of our boys was sick in the hospital at the start of the cycle. We were exhausted and did NOT have unprotected sex but maybe 1-2 times. I had sex about 5 or 6 days before O, and then again very late at night on O-1 (so technically an O day attempt) That was the least amount of sex we had ever conceived with by far.!!! Questions?? I'll tell you the problem and then you tell me if that will work for you or not.
What can happen is that sometimes DH will run out of steam if you have sex too often. So he'll "waste" his attempts on early sex that you can't get pregnant from and then by the time the fertile window opens, it may be that he'll be unable to perform during the fertile window. This has caused several people to end up with an attempt let's say O-3 and then he's out of steam and can't BD O-2, O-1 or O day. So just be sure you're pacing yourselves, you may want to space that one more day out to every 2 or 3 days when not in the fertile window so you can both be getting any benefits of regular exposure to the hormones in his semen while at the same time being sure he's got enough gas in the tank to have the fertile window attempts.!!! I have three boys. DS1 was BD every day for a week leading up to ovulation. DS2 was two attempts around O (I think day before and 2 days before?). DS3 was one attempt, two days before O I believe and that was with swaying pink too.
IMO, diet played a huge role for me with my first two boys.'12

We DTD every second day for both our boys. And again on ovulation. But DH has a high set drive so that was doable for us

DS 1 we had attempt at pos opk and probably the next 2 or 3 nights..It was our first month ttc and the first opk I did was positive. DS 2 was 0-2,0-1, O day and day after. With my daughter I swayed for a few months and after ttc for so long stopped and had attempts 0-1 and O day.
DS 3 was one attempt either 0-3 or O-2. We were not ttc.
I have always had a very big friendly diet.

2 weeks before. Keep in mind that many people think they actually sway blue and WANT to be on them for their sway. OPK are fallible. We use them because it's the best technology we have, but...
