    Trying for a baby boy!

    Hiya ladies. So i am ttc a baby boy and I’ve had BFN Feb March and now April! I normally get a bfp first month of trying so this is very unusual for me. I am on a good HE diet and getting a positive opk on cd13 and generally have a 28 day cycle.

    I take a prenatal that has no mega doses. Mostly 100%
    I take extra vitamin D

    Drink tons of water

    I know three months isn’t that long. But if any boy moms could give me tips on how to increase fertility or add to what I am doing I’d be so greatful. Please help me get my blue bundle atomic! 😄❣️

    Is fish oil necessary for blue? Also was thinking about switching to pregnacare conception or original???

    Any boy moms who took pregnacare? Thank you xx

    Hi Pray!

    Can you tell me about your attempts?? Are you doing douches, baking soda finger, that kind of thing??

    Fish oil isn't necessary but a lot of people do like to include it.. 500 mg max daily, no more than that.

    I am not a fan of Pregnacare, either version. It has ingredients in there that may sway pink and those massive megadoses are not safe. And the high dose of B6 and the arginine can really mess up your cycle, delaying or stopping ovulation totally.

    Hi Atomic thanks for the reply. I am not doing any douches or anything like that. I’ve actually kept it quite simple. My vitamins are just a simple one that provide me with 100% of everything apart from selenium which is 136%. Then taking additional vitamin D.

    I am having three hearty protein veg and carb meals with additional snacks. I am a good healthy weight.

    Attempts wise I am doing smep. Which is working well and neither of us are tired doing this.

    May be it’s just a matter of patience. I am thinking of adding more fruits and veg smoothies just to help boost nutrition.

    No medication. DH is taking a multivitamin that has mainly 100% of everything no mega doses.

    Smoothies are fine, if you like them, but I doubt the issue is a lack of nutrients.

    Are you continuing with attempts even after you think you've ovulated?? If you aren't, please do, sometimes people stop attempts too soon.

    I also want you to lay down for at least 30 min. after intercourse and spend part of that time on your belly.

    Hey Atomic. We do smep so eod then three around positive miss a day then last attempt and that’s it. But you are right. I will continue for an extra few of days.
