Due Date vs conception date
Hello all, i need a little clarity Please.
I sway boy and due in August this year. Counting back 9 months from the due date it seems i conceived three days later from what we thought was Ovulation day and we did BD accordingly after positive Opk. I do not know how Midwife counts the dates & days and predict the due date but it's make me a little worry that may be we had miscalculated the Ovulation day.
How Midwife due date and conception date works?
ThanksLast edited by reemakh; May 15th, 2019 at 05:17 PM.

Hi Reemakh,
Opk's can be tricky. The line really needs to be as dark as the control line, which means you're ovulating within 12-48 hours I think. So maybe your ovulation was 1 or 2 days later than you thought. Some babies also grow a little less fast in the beginning, putting you one or two days later for your due date.
All possible explanations for the difference in dates, but nothing to worry about.
Congrats on your pregnancy

You cannot tell what day you ovulated based on either of those things. But the OPK is WAY more reliable than due date!
Please don't worry about it, the due date is based on when your period came and NOT when you ovulated.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
