    Getting sick while swaying blue

Ramadan ended a couple of days ago, since then I have resumed my normal HE diet but I have got the cold

I am still eating three meals a day with snacking, but finding it difficult at the moment to eat larger portions because my body and muscles are so sore from all the coughing. I also can't consume cold foods like my juices, coconut water and cereal because they make me cough and give a nose block. Today I had a big bowl of chicken soup(with cabbage and carrots) to ease the cough, but is there anything I can do to quickly get rid of this cold?

And although I won't start ttc until late July/early August, will this still affect my sway? I am taking my 1000 iu vitamin D and probiotic capsule daily, and will start my Elevit prenatal soon. I even got the flu shot thinking 'haha I won't get sick' but caught the cold instead (flu and cold are diff virus, I thought I had the flu at first but it's actually a cold). After a month of fasting I got back on my diet with anticipation but don't feel so good about the way it has started. And now dh is starting to get the cold as well

P.S - Eid Mubarak to the Muslim swayers!

Unfortunately colds just have to run their course. Keep doing what you're doing, you're plenty far from your sway!

Thanks Atomic, you’re right I will just have to wait this cold out. In the meantime I’m continuing my diet and supps. Also I bought robitussin for my coughs(the mucus relief double action one), but also because I’ve read it helps with ewcm(I get lots of it when I drink grapefruit juice as well), but some other sites say that robitussin is harmful for baby at conception, is that true?

I prefer the kind without the Bromhexine but it's likely fine.

The baby isn't even attached to you at conception and medicine can't hurt it at that point. You will stop taking it either O Day or 3 days after and it will be long gone before implantation.

There was a yellow bottle of robitussin but it had other ingredients in it. I’ll take it a bit but otherwise grapefruit juice gives me ewcm as well(and also using first response). Thanks for explaining about what to look out for when taking the syrup.

Now that I’m properly back on the sway and with just less than 2 months left I feel excited but also nervous? And not just about the sway but, this being my first pregnancy, also thinking how I will get pregnant, what if it doesn’t happen straightaway

    Perfect!

It is normal to think about trying to conceive and be nervous about it. But most people do get pregnant quite easily (surprisingly so!)

I would try to wait to worry when you have a reason to.

Btw Atomic how exactly will I ‘lie on stomach’ or just lie in general after our attempts and not let anything out? When I’ve tried this in my non-fertile weeks it gets messy (sorry tmi!)

Ahhh the days are getting closer and my nerves are all over the place! Praying it all goes well

Some comes out. That is normal and unavoidable. I would lay flat on back for 15 minutes (and the sperm will have mostly all left the semen by then) and then flip over to your tummy and if anything spills that's fine.
