Vitamin supplements
my blood details came back, saying everything is fine (there is a list ) except that I have vit D deficiency. progesterone level indicates that ovulation also happened.
I saw this kit for sperm checks.. are they reliable?
anyone tried? or best to wait for doc referral?

Ok so let's boost the Vit. D as per your doctors orders. If they didn't give you any orders on upping Vit. D, just double the amount you've been taking until they do. If it was SUPER low, then triple it up to 5000 iu a day, no more than that without doctor's guidance.
The over the counter sperm checks really aren't very reliable. It only tests one element - sheer numbers alone - but there are several things they test for in a sperm analysis. And they're not truly counting the sperm, they're just testing for a protein that sperm have in it. So a man with a lot of dead sperm might still have a high protein number and seem like he had a good sperm count when he didn't. The best use of those tests is to tell when a man is no longer fertile after a vasectomy and not for any male fertility issues.

Thank you atomic,
yes, doctor asked to double vitD. so with centrum i am having 10ug and i just bought new folic acid bottle so i got the one with extra 10ug vit D. so it will be 20ug now.
oh okay, I will try to get through Nhs for sperm testing, hopefully I get positive this cycle so dont have to go through all this.
one change this cycle is that, I have upped my coq10 tab.. it used to be 60mg and now 200mg ..

Perfect! YES let's hope and for positive pregnancy test this cycle and all this will soon be a distant memory!
200 mg coq10 is fine, that may help with egg quality a bit (tho sadly it's not the magic bullet we wish it was)

thank you atomic.
I am praying the same , hoping this is my month. especially.. when I have to break everything for fasting month.. its hard to suddenly change then get back.. .. will try my best to stick with supps etc..
i think i got my positive OPK yday.. (CD15).. guessing today could be my ovulation as well.
we did every2-4 days until fertile window.. then Cd14, cd15, cd16 (today) .. then try one more tomorrow then carry on 2-4 days.
wont be attempting next cycle as I have few fasting to take next week( during my 2ww) .. would that ok. i wont be doing it in a row.. planning every other day.

Brilliant, it sounds as if you've had a great attempt this month!!!! FXFXFX and for blue BFP!
Yes that makes sense to skip the month, several others are doing the same.
In the 2WW I would just try extra hard to be sure you're eating a big meal before dawn and after sunset. It's not ideal, but it can still happen just as long as your body isn't "afraid" that you're starving, and big meals can help with that. I know of one woman who actually set an alarm during Ramadan and had a midnight snack! I don't think that's necessary really but it is something you could do if you were really concerned you hadn't been able to consume enough calories at two meals.

thanks a lot.
yeah.. most people do wake up at midnight and eat something as it is best to do. we also wake up at night and I usually have a bowl of oats. sometimes oats and fruits made into a smoothie or more like a milk shake.. with some nuts. so i will try to have something like that… and ensure I eat well when I can

Yes absolutely as long as you can sleep after that. When I wake up in the night I'm often up for hours after that!! So it would be a trade off for sure!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
