A couple more questions Atomic: Does day of time matter when bding? Last cycle we bd O-2(night), O-1(afternoon), O(night), because DH had night shift on O-1.
And should we bd on O-3 the next cycle, so there are 4 attempts, will that boost our chances?
Thnx a million for going through every little thing with me!

I personally do not think time of day matters AT ALL and is just another thing to worry over. I truly, truly think that most sway sites want to make their sway recommendations so ridiculously complicated that people can never get it right. Then the sites can always find something everyone did "wrong". But that kind of thing simply can't matter because practically everyone BD's at bedtime all around the world and we all get 50-50 boys and girls that way!
I would love to see everyone BD 4 times and O-3 if they can (especially since many times people have ovulated sooner than they expected to and were sad they didn't get the 3 attempts in!) That is how I got my boys!

Hi Atomic, DH has a night shift coming up so we had to change our schedule. How do these bd dates look?
CD - 8(done), possibly CD10?, 12, 14, 15, plus every other day in the tww.

If your cycle is 28 days I'd do 12,13,14,15

Thanks Atomic, I’ll get in the four attempts even if the first one is in the morning. DH wouldn’t be ‘shooting dust’ by the 3rd/4th day will he? There will still be lots of sperm around by O?
Here’s how the attempts will look:
CD12: Morning
CD13: Afternoon
CD14: Night
CD15: Night

As long as the fertile window is open (and it should be) it's all good. Just adding more and more sperm to meet the egg!

I have pain on my left side right now, kind of like cramps. Does this mean ovulation is due soon or something else? I had this pain on the left side last cycle but it was after o, and felt it even a week after o and thought it was implantation cramps but of course no bfp

It can be related to ovulation but it doesn't tell you if you've ovulated or not. What happens is that our body develops lots of eggs on both sides (15-20) every month and only the best one or two are ovulated. Both ovaries are very sore, swollen, and tender. So we have pains, but can't know if it's from ovulation or from eggs that will be released soon or if it's from eggs that weren't released and are now resolving themselves. The fallopian tubes also cramp after ovulation and the corpus luteum may be sore as it forms. We just can't know what is causing any ovulation related pain.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
