My baby boy💙💙💙
I just wanted to write an update that we are having a baby BOY!!! All looks great and I am so thrilled and wanted to thank you atomic for all of your sweet and knowledgeable answers and reassuring you have given me throughout this whole journey. I am 13 weeks ( found out gender from harmony blood test, and looks very boyish on our 12 week scan) and this journey has only just begun as now we have extreme concerns with covid19 and me working on the front lines close to patients faces with no proper ppe. Please pray for the safety of this little one as there is no information on first or second trimester women who have fallen ill with this virus.

Congratulations!!
Are you in the UK, NHS?
I work for an NHS trust that sent round guidelines for pregnant staff. Does your line manager know, because they have a duty to protect you. May be that you need to be taken away from the front line

I took all of the supplements atomic suggested and a women’s one a day for several months prior to conception. I drank a lot of tea both hot and cold as my beverage of choice. I had decaf coffee when I did indulge, never full caffeinated. Once I saw my first positive opk we had intercourse that day or night, the following morning or night, and then once again the following day. So three times. I laid in bed for at least 30 minutes each time as well, or just went to sleep without getting up to use the bathroom. For a few months I wasn’t getting pregnant while doing this, so atomic suggested I stop using so much preseed before intercourse, unless I needed lubrication. I really didn’t need it that bad so I stopped using it and got pregnant the next month. I also maintained the boy diet fairly well. I wasn’t perfect and obsessing over it, but I took the main points of it and stuck to it. I drank whole milk only if I had milk. I stayed away from all artificial sweeteners. I also drank v8 juice several times a week.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
