Can anyone give a guess please?
So I was planning to sway but it got cut off at some point and I got pregnant last month instead of my plan (this month). Anyways, I was swaying blue and did some of the sway things but I cant stop thinking about all the things that could get be sway opposite 😭. I want to list everything and someone please tell me if I have stronger chances at a boy or not:
1. I am breastfeeding my 1 year 3 month old baby.
2. I dtd once only at 1 day after the ovulation strip showed positive. Laid down for more than 15 minutes after that.
3. Was on Vitamin D, C, B complex, and zinc (multi vits too but not everyday)
4. Drank Collagen everyday.
5. A cup of green tea almost daily.
6. Not much ewcm. Almost none actually.
7. Have NOT taken musinex.
8. Daily breakfast, usually egg or cereal.
Do I have a stronger chance at having a boy or girl? This is my last baby after 1 boy and 2 girls and I really hope its a boy but Im so worried specially about the frequency of dtd times (once only) and about not taking musinex, and also breastfeeding 💔.

I can't lay out chances like that. It's just beyond my ability to know. You did some things that were more pink friendly and other things that were blue friendly and it would not be possible (or appropriate) for me to make a guess on that basis. I'll just say "congrats" and send you a bunch of blue dust!

You're right its very hard to predict.. Ill just wait and see and update you as soon as I know. It would be very interesting to see what this half sway will result in!

Yes, Mucinex (guaifenesin) is in the class of drugs considered safe when breastfeeding. But please be sure you are getting ONLY guaifenesin as the active ingredient. There are other forms of Mucinex, and more commonly Robitussin, that have other active ingredients that are either not safe or else will dry up your milk. Guaifenesin only.

Thank you for your prompt reply, I am in the uk is there any brand you recommend, I don’t have any periods yet so how do I know when I ovulate. Would it be okay to take for a month ? I feel like going into this blind but same time don’t want to wean my 11 month old DD. Do you have unprotected sex every 2 days u think to have a better chance for a boy sway however I feel like without a period I am just shooting blind

I don't recommend brands because the companies are constantly changing their formulas and it would be a full time job for me to keep up to speed on them all around the world. just check under "active ingredients" and if it says JUST guaifenesin then that is what you want.
Do not take Mucinex for a month. It won't help you if you aren't even ovulating.
Would you be willing to do OPK?? Have you ever used them before?

Yes of course anything, how do they work. Would it be better to stop ebf and do my sway then, my aim was 12 months which is soon. I have 1 boy and 2 girls so this is our last baby to try for a brother for my eldest ( no pressure on me at all )

I hate to see people stop nursing to sway, because for all we know you could stop nursing and then still get an opposite, or worse still, not conceive at all (it has happened a few times, and people really regretted giving up nursing).
I generally recommend waiting 18 months for a boy but that's your call to make of course.
If you're not ovulating you're not going to be conceiving anyway, even if you hoped to get pregnant at 12 months.
I would get some cheap OPK and use them once daily after lunch. They'll likely be negative for some time and then once you get a positive where the test line is as dark or darker than control, have three attempts, that night, the next morning and night (so two in the same day on the second day) and if possible, one more the next day. Then keep testing - it's not unusual to have false positive OPK sometimes and any time you get a positive, you need to have the attempts. It is possible to get pregnant before you ever get your period!
It’s been awhile but I keep meaning to come back and say we swayed girl in 2022 and had a little girl in early 2023! First girl born in 110+ years on my husband’s side.[emoji179]
