Maca root powder!
Hello atomic,
I have come to understand that regular unprotected sex is important for a blue sway.
Since I had my second DD I have been experiencing low libido. My libido increases during my fertile window but after ovulation I begin to lose interest in sex.
I have heard a lot about maca root and it's ability to boost the female libido. I know you don't recommend maca, but I was wondering if the root powder will be better than the supplements.
I want to add the maca root to my blue sway. Will it help or hurt?
Thanks for your time and I really appreciate your help.

I don't recommend the root powder either. We've had people develop low libido while taking that, let alone some other troubling side effects.
Can you have sex with your husband even if you don't reach orgasm?

Hello atomic,
I have 4weeks worth of centrum tablets left. I plan to start my ttc BD attempts in January or February.
Should I stop taking them now, then continue in January? If I were to continue taking them, can I change to One a day multivitamin when the centrum tablets are finished?

I would just gradually wean from Centrum to One a Day. I wouldn't wait till you were completely out of the one to switch to the other (though they do have very similar doses so it's probably fine!)
If you can't get more, then I would space out the dose to be sure you're still getting SOME nutrients coming in!

Thanks for your reply atomic,
I actually want to change to one a day multivitamin so that when I get my bfp I can use the remaining tablets in early pregnancy.
I will wean off the centrum gradually or can I use centrum in early pregnancy after bfp?

You can use Centrum or One a Day as a prenatal. Honestly, they're both better than a lot of prenatals available because they don't have the megadoses or herbs added to them like some brands of prenatals do.

Hello atomic,
So I have been practicing using OPKs to track my ovulation. This is my first time so I have been testing three times a day. I got this result this morning by 7am CD12. Is this result the peak? If this was my attempt month how should my BD pattern be?
I was thinking of BD CD12 morning, CD12 night, CD13 morning, CD13 afternoon. Will that be okay?

Another question atomic,
Overtime I have gained a lot of weight, I lost a pregnancy in June this year and I hadn't lost the weight before starting the HE diet during which I put on more weight. Before the pregnancy I weighed 77kg and now I am at 87kg.
Hubby and I have decided to start attempting in Feb or march. So last month I started trying to lose weight. I reduced portion sizes and instead of a full breakfast I have a fruit and vegetable smoothie with peanuts instead. I have also stopped taking snacks. I have lost 2kg and I want to lose at least 3kg more. I have stopped exercising because I feel hungry all the time and I fear exercising Will make me hungrier.
I know weight loss is bad for a blue sway but if I can lose some weight this month then go back to the HE diet by January or February will it hurt my sway?
In that case which will be preferable, starting my attempts in February or March?
Thanks your time atomic.

Yes that's great, though I'd try to get in one on CD 14 too just in case of delayed ovulation. Then go to every other day for a couple rounds just in case.
What I would have you do is do weight training exercise and eat a modified HE Diet where you cut out fruit juice, dry fruit, limit carby foods like breads, banana, potato somewhat though you can still have some of these things, and stick to 3-4 meals/snacks total (not 3 meals and 3 snacks, 4 times a day total eating) a day and if some weight comes off that's ok.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
