Yeah, they should not have told you that. They can't tell on an ultrasound if your egg is ok. They have no idea if that is the case and you should have just gone for it.
But you're still in with a good chance of conception, though the egg was quite large and they really should have given you a trigger shot when it became apparent you were not ovulating in a timely fashion.
You can't tell when you ovulate on O Pain. I understand it's weird when you've felt a stabbing pain but I've heard from hundreds of people who feel those feelings and then don't ovulate or did some time in the past long before they felt that.!!! I have gained about 5kg from swaying and I conceived my other children at a lesser BMI. But what do you think is causing me to ovulate so early?
I have a 26 - 27 day cycle and my previous attempts have been on cd 11 - 15 but I haven't been able to conceive. I guess I've been ovulating early all this while.

Hello Atomic,
From my ultrasound I suspect that I ovulated on day 11 because the follicle size was smaller than cd 10. Is ovulating on cd11 too early? Does it have anything to do with egg quality?
I read somewhere that ovulating from the left ovary is a sign of low fertility while ovulating from the right ovary is a sign of high fertility. I ovulated from the left ovary this month.
I was wondering if you would recommend supplements that I can take to boost my egg quality.
Currently I take women one a day, folic acid and 1000mg fish oil every other day.
Thanks for kindness Atomic.

The egg quality may have been off this month because something was goofy with the follicle. It got WAY too big before ovulation occurred, now this doesn't mean that you couldn't get pregnant, but it is something we think "hmm, perhaps that had a negative effect". But this doesn't mean anything for previous or for future cycles.
You can absolutely ovulate CD 11 and conceive from it.
Don't overthink the right ovary vs. left ovary. All that is just totlaly unproven speculation.
The right ovary often gets more blood flow so it ovulates more often. All it means is that something about that particular egg made it respond better (indeed, maybe too well) to the hormones and it won the race. Next month, it may be one on the right. Whatever egg is the most responsive will be the one ovulated.
Can you get coq10 where you're at?? You may want to add in 200 mg coq10 to improve egg quality.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you Atomic, I will start Coq10 as soon as possible. Should I start the Coq10 now, or wait for AF to arrive? I'm on cd18 now.

Yes absolutely! The insemination will sway blue, and the Femara is only adding a small percent towards pink (the reason we like Femara for pink is not because it's super powerful, it's because it's consistent and easy)
Many people believe hypothyroidism sways blue anyway. I am not convinced of that, but many people do think it's blue friendly.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
