Would my bladder prolapse affect number of sperms reaching the egg?

    Hi Atomic,

I have bladder prolapse from my last 3 pregnancies.

This month’s attempts we DTD as follows:
0-2 DTD 1:45 pm (very deep penetration position),
0-1 positive clearblue OPK 7 am, DTD 11 pm (spooning position)
O day, DTD 11:30 am (spooning position)

Before the O-2 attempt DH hadn’t released for 3 days. And since my AF he was releasing every 2-4 days.

My question is since I have bladder prolapse, would the attempts on O-1 and O be considered weak attempts since the spooning position might not have been the best for deep penetration due to the bladder prolapse? Is it a thing that the bladder prolapse might have affected the number of sperms reaching the egg? Or that’s not true?

Nope, they've studied it and pelvic floor issues like bladder prolapse do not seem to affect fertility. In fact it's estimated that 50% of all women will have a pelvic floor issue prior to menopause.

The vagina is actually a very small, tight, space. This idea that there's really much difference based on sex positions is untrue. It can even be that some positions that don't feel very deep are actually putting the cervix in a more favorable position because everything is very close together in there.

In other words, you are fine with those attempts.
