What have I done
So yesterday I went to take an opk and grabbed a pack opened it and did the dip quickly while 3 kids were talking to me so I’m not paying attention. So I let it sit and go about my day and then come back to check it and there is a half a pink line very faint and I realize it’s an hcg test not an opk… they come in the same package. I discard it thinking it’s a fluke since these are you know cheap strip things and then get to thinking omgggg what if it’s not a fluke. So I test again today at the same time and it’s a tad darker… so now I won’t quite freak out because it’s still really faint but omggggg I’m so MAD at myself! How on earth did I miss ovulation??? I’ve been testing near daily. IF it is a positive…. I didn’t get multiple attempts in! Heck I don’t even know when I ovulated! And I’m still nursing my baby. If it is God’s will it will be but how important is the multiple attempts? I have been really good about eating lots of dairy meat eggs and taking my supplements. Also getting lots of sun and weightlifting. My husband hasn’t been biking or in the hot tub. Uh I’m grasping at straws here. Anyways… it may just be a couple fluke strips.
This is negative, right?
The one from yesterday was a bit lighter.

Oh gosh so this is an HCG test??
If it sat for a long time it can make a very faint line, and then in addition, we've been having a lot of issues with faint, but noticeable ghost lines.
The fact that this is just a half-line makes me think it's a manufacturing defect. Do you have any that are another brand?!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

No that was the last one. It’s definitely pink not grey. And the one the day before looked the same just a tad lighter pink. Same partial line.

We're getting pink lines with the fakers too though. They're some weird new (as in, the past 2-3 years) ghost line. Not grey or colorless, true pink, but they never get darker and when people get blood tests after having one of those lines, they're not pregnant and have low HCG still.
My gut instinct is for you to get a different brand and test again. I don't trust that partial line. One time I had a pregnancy test where just the whole window turned purple. This was back before I knew about any of this stuff, so I assumed that meant pregnant, but then I got my period (late because I was breastfeeding). It was just a flaw with the test and I was never pregnant at all. So even tho that's been a few years, it's still possible that sometimes you just get a wonky batch of tests.!!! Questions?? What have I done
Ok we will see tomorrow I ordered more. If it’s for real I can only hope my diet has carried me through!
The other worrisome thing is my letdown is taking longer and milk seems to be not as plentiful. I used to always have an abundance of milk now it’s just not what it usually is I’m hoping that’s just a little dehydration- it’s been so so hot here this past week

Just keep nursing more often and your milk should recover. Very likely just a bit of dehydration. Nothing in the HE Diet should cause lower milk supply.

No since HE I have been producing so so much! That’s why I’m wondering if it really is a positive test… as soon as I’m preggo I always get a dip in supply I’m going to just consider it dehydration until the other tests show up. Had to be a couple of faulty tests with that weird half line bs
