Centrum for women has vitamin A, is this safe?
Hi Atomic,
Centrum for women has vitamin A. I had heard from other doctors that vitamin A is not recommended for women TTC or pregnant women, but I recommended it anyway for my friend since you had already approved it for me when I was still ttc, so how can I explain to her that it is safe for her boy sway and for her pregnancy in general?Last edited by Nora Aaron; January 9th, 2023 at 07:21 PM.

Also I have been taking it still, I’m about 7 weeks pregnant. Should I stop it? Is it safe for me to carry on with it? I’m panicking over this information and I would love a reassurance from you that Centrum hasn’t harmed my baby

It's by far less than the dangerous amount (here's a good article https://natural-fertility-prescripti...and-pregnancy/) plus some of it is in the form of Beta Carotene which is ok during pregnancy. I do prefer the Women's One a Day which has less, but many prenatal vitamins have MORE (including the ubiquitous Pregnacare) not to mention megadoses of many other things that have very little safety info about them, and many people in the UK can't find the One a Day without a lot of effort.
I would not have you guys use something that I thought could be harmful.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

It’s so normal to be sad, especially around the DD of the baby that you lost. I always have a pang of hurt, 8 years on - it’s fleeting but it’s there. You are such a resilient and happy person xx...
