13 week scan
2E60F3A6-56EA-4440-B725-2337EF11008F.jpg
I had my 12 week scan and was measuring 13
Weeks 1 day. The tech went down near the legs and me and my husband saw 3 lines - I’m convinced
Baby is a girl. Two nub techs have said 98% girl and the nub is very straight. Am I out for my boy ? Is there any hope? Photo attached! I didn’t ask the tech and she didn’t say anything

No you’re not out!!! I was really convinced I was having a girl after my 14 weeks scan and sent it to the nub experts and all that. They said girl. Nope! All boy on the 20 w ultrasound!!!

The theory is just that my tech and dr said after I confessed what I did- it’s just a theory! Get your NIPT or wait for 20 week!

Well, you can go look at The Final Countdown's gender guess from some online people like this, they were WRONG, guessed girl and she's having a boy.
I can't really see these pics very good. Can you send me them at atomicsagebrush@gmail.com??

And what do you mean "went down near the legs?" Is that a potty shot, you thought you saw? Potty shots are not reliable at this stage of gestation and so you can't tell from that angle at this gestation.

There were the photos I send off for nub . No didn’t do a
Potty shot it was going down near the legs
For leg measurements and just could see 3
Lines between the legs and nothing that would
Resemble a boy. I’m
Measuring 13 w 1 day but I know as I tracked and only bd on two days I can only be 12 w 5 days at the most as used protection before that. I’m
Praying but setting myself up for disappointment

If you were looking up from the bottom during a measurement of leg length, that is NOT reliable. Both boys and girls look like girls from the bottom at this stage of gestation. You can only tell from the nub shot at this time of pregnancy, so don't worry about what you think you saw. My stepfather thought he saw girl parts on an ultrasound, and then when my brother was born, he blurted out to the entire delivery room "that kid's got balls!" (and he was a registered nurse!)
As for these pictures, the top one is useless for guessing. The lower one is quite blurry too as if the baby was in motion. I agree that the nub is rather flat, but I have seen nubs on much higher quality pictures than this one still rising into the 13th week. I've even seen a few very clear pictures I guessed girl on at the end of the 13th week that were boys. I don't say this to offer up any false hope, but just because it's not clear to me this baby's gender. I would guess 55% girl, 45% boy.

Her scan picture was even less clear than this, and what the "gender experts" were guessing on was not the nub (she will verify that I told her that at the time.) Yours IS the nub, and it is a bit on the flat side like I said, but the baby was likely moving around and there's still some time for it to rise. I do hope you get to see the pics, but I think this is two different sets of circumstances.

Hi everyone. (And atomic! Would love your advice!) Swaying girl. 3 healthy babies so far. Got an ultrasound not long ago for a sore ovary (which is fine) but they also picked up on the fact I have...
Adenomyosis with no symptoms -...
