    Hi ladies, need some help with a sway from all you experts

    Hello, I am new here but have been in the swaying world for a long time. I swayed with my 4th son and failed. I did tbm on 2 days before O and day before, then day of O and still got a boy. I was taking calcium and magnesium too but my dh would not take a thing. I want to sway one last time but really want to get this right. I plan to have dh abstain for at least 7 days this time but what is the maximum time...14 days??? I am 39 and my dh is 42 so we are on the older side. I am doing diet already but am a little confused about what to really eat. I know this is different to the IG diet but is there a place on here where I can see what exactly I should be eating. I am not eating any red meat only chicken. I also see that timing is not an important factor but for me I think it might be. I was going to do a 0+12, I was even going to have my OB monitor by O but I read that because of my age, getting pregnant is way harder when doing that. Does anyone check their ph as well. Is that a factor?? I did all that before and I was low and still had my 4th boy. I know diet is the most important. I do exercise a lot, but I understand that I should only run or do more cardio without any muscle training. I have cut out kickboxing and am only running and dancing. Is that ok? I don't weigh a lot, I am 103lbs, is it ok for me to drop a few pounds without hurting my fertility?? I plan on working out 7 days, verses 5 days that I normally do, is that too excessive? One more question ladies, Is May a good month to conceive a girl? I read that summer is better, which would be June and it would be less stressful as the kids are out of school. I also promised myself to not be so in charge in my house. I read that women who surrender their strong nature get girls. I am very strong willed so I think I may learn to meditate and have a carefree attitude instead of this intense "I need to get things done" attitude. Is this all true. My dh will not do any of the sway with me and I am not going to stress, just relax and try to concentrate on myself with the sway. Anyone have any suggestions for me?? Thank you ladies!

    Thank you!! How do I get started??? Or where do I get started??? I read a bunch of threads and honestly I know a lot about a lot of the stuff, although the DIET seems to be the most concentrated area on here and I really dont know a lot about the diet. I have been on a low diet for a year off and on and have NOT had red meat forever!! I don't eat breakfast at all......about 1130-1200 is when I eat. I do eat salads which is not good for TTC a girl. This is my last shot at this and I have been on calcium and magnesium supps for a long time and I take aspirin everyday. That is all I take though. I have normal cycles.....I ovulate regularly. I think I want to DTD when I get a Postive OPK and that is it. I know when I have tried to conceive with my boys, it has been dtd a few times around O time. So, I just want this a one shot deal and that is it. Does that sound good??? Can I post a sway and have everyone critique it??? I don't know what to do. I am on the older side but I want to make sure I do this soon. Does the month play a factor at all?? Like I went on the chinese gender calendars and all pretty much say MAY is BOY month.....should I believe that???

    I PMed you about diet. There are a lot of LE Diet threads in the Dream Members section. Also, we've been getting just as good of success, if not better, without taking cal mag (the case against calcium is found here - three part essay with links in the first to the other two, http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...roversial.html The discussion after the essays is also very intriguing, esp. after the third essay.)

    I don't advise abstain for any guys older than 35 but ESP. for those guys over 40. It may up the risk of birth defects and other diseases http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...over-35-a.html

    I do not advise ANYONE to try O+12, esp. a 39 year old.     I also checked my pH constantly and got a 4th boy with pH of 4.5. We've kinda let go on the pH stuff because so many people were getting pH opposites, both pink and blue. If you use antihistamine and RepHresh, you don't even need to worry about pH at all anyway.

    The seasons and swaying info is here. May is actually better than June according to the science - that's not what IG says, but we have studies that show more girls conceived Mar-May.     Salads are FINE for TTC pink. The acid/alkaline diet stuff doesn't work.

    DTD with one attempt at pos OPK is perfect and what I prefer that everyone do.

    Don't even give Chinese Gender Calculators another thought, they're not true.

    I agree, the older you are, the sooner you need to start attempts. Even a few months difference can make the difference between a baby and none. I got pg first ovulation while BF at 39 with my 4th son, but then it took me 6 months to get pg with my DD only 2 years later.

    Thank you so much Atomic and ladies! I have already been doing diet for a while and this is going to be already my 3rd attempt at this. I have tried getting pregnant now without success. I saw this site and wanted to make sure that I was doing the most I could possibly do. So, Positive OPK DTD once is ok??? Is a Diva cup good to use?? I am glad salads are fine.....since I eat lots of them. The last few weeks I haven't but usually I do. I haven't had red meat forever though or potatoes!!! My husband did have a sperm analysis because I was going to do IVF but realized how evasive it was and decided not to. But his motility was like 89% and his sperm count was 85 million. There were other numbers but I don't know what they were for. I think its me we have to worry about since I hold the eggs. His sperm count seems high based on what I have read. I don't know, maybe you ladies know more. I read that one time in the month for girls is best. I know with my boys and my last sway I DTD multiple times in the fertile window. Also, I know people that have told me that they didnt know how they got pregnant (with daughters) they only had sex once and some have said they dont even remember having sex! So maybe there is some true to it! I always have made a conscious decision to TTC and so therefore we made several attempts. I have never tried a cut-off because I really didn't know when I O'd just around when. I now know when I O because one time recently I was at the doctor getting a annual exam and my doctor was pressing and I told him it hurt, so he did an ultrasound and told me that was because I was Oing on the side he was pushing and showed me. So I did my calculations and every month now I know around the time and the soreness. I have been good about losing a few lbs this pat few weeks. I can tell.....I am also just trying to stay away from certain foods, which is hard. I have replens....is that ok to use leading up to O. I read somewhere that is was good to use. I read a lot about aci-jel but where do you buy that. I used sylk on my last attempt, so I want to stay away from that now. Anything else you recommend??? I really really want a daughter so bad and will do what it takes! So if you ladies really have any clues to what is the best way for me. I have a plan and I feel that it is good so please tell me if you think otherwise!

    BD once at pos OPK worked for me! I agree, I think with all my boys we had BD more than once in the fertile window. We def. had sex more than once in a month, but only did it once during my fertile window.

    That having been said, if you do a lot to sway and do 7-10 rounds of frequent release or several compressed frequent release in a couple of days, those sway pink too. you can read all about those in the frequency links I posted.

    I wouldn't have you use a Diva with sperm numbers that high! You'll just hold max numbers of swimmers near your cervix.

    Unfortunately, you still don't know when exactly you Oed. First of all, O pain can happen before, during and after O and this can vary from month to month. And your cycle can change every month and you may O on a different cycle day than you normally do. This is especially when swaying because your cycle can change pretty dramatically from diet and supps.

    The good news is, timing doesn't sway anyway and the easiest and best method is just to have your attempt at a positive OPK.

    You'll need to order Acijel online if you want to use it. There's also RepHresh which I think is the best jelly of all (Replens is not RepHresh.)

    Thanks.....Can I do replens??? I brought some because I thought the ph was lower and can use after bding???
