    Antibiotics

I have to take antibiotics for a dermatitis I have which I can't clear up without it. I am yet to go to the dermatologist for the prescription, but last time I had them it was a 2 month course, so no quick fix. How bad is this for a girl sway? Obviously I don't actually 'need' them for a sickness as such, but the dermatitis looks and feels terrible.

And I always seem to get thrush when taking them, does this affect my sway also? Should I take a probiotic?

    Not sure what to do....

Oh dear...this is a tough one. Antibiotics in old swaying lore sway blue I *think* because of the increased CM...so you could theoretically just use an antihistimine to counter act that if you are wanting to ttc straight away.

Do you know what your triggers are for the dermatitis? I get this too (from sodium laureal sulfate and any sunscreen on the planet) but I've always let it just heal on its own once the trigger is removed...but you think you need the antibiotics? (obviously yes but if you knew what it was caused from, would that help it heal on its own?) Do you wash with a clear soap and just put NOTHING on it? Face or hands?

I too get thrush from the antibiotic so really, the only way to go on that is the probiotic..which I think in the sway stats hasn't been getting too great of a review in the overall picture. You could just hope like mad you don't get yeast and maybe include yogurt in your diet although that doesn't always really do much good but it cant' hurt.

Thanks HQ. I think mine might be from SLS also, so maybe I'll try to eliminate that and see how I go. I'm not that keen to try the antibiotics if I don't need to.

I've been using a cleanser with SLS in it as I get acne and it just seems to clean so much better.

I get no CM usually so maybe that side effect wouldn't be that bad for me?!

I can't remember why antibiotic sways boy...I *think* it was CM but maybe it was pH??? Again..can be counteracted with baby aspirin or rephresh if pH was a concern.

Dermititis takes FOREVER to heal so I understand. Be careful of your shampoo too because that runs down when you shower and I am so horribly sensitive to this stuff and I think I have had periods where it takes almost 2 months to heal after coming into contact with it. I am SO blessed!!

I was on an antibiotic for a UTI last month and ended up not making an attempt because I heard it swayed blue. After a couple days on the antibiotic I had TONS of EWCM. I have never had that much in my life, and it was not even at ovulation time in my cycle! Just a little anecdotal evidence, but I think that must be why it sways blue!
I have two amazing boys, ages 6 and 8. I finally got my BFP on the first month of Clomid after TTC well over a year with my girl sway. Baby Boy #3 is due July 13, 2014!

Antibiotics are said to sway due to both extra CM and pH. If you use some REpHresh and antihistamine, it can counteract it.

If you NEED antibiotics then of course you should take them. However they do carry with them health risks aside from swaying, so it's always best to try and come up with another option if possible.

The downside of taking the probiotics for the thrush is that probiotics have not had great results for pink either. So that may sway blue for you too. :s Swaying, bleah!
