Clomid nerves
I have called my OBGYN office and have set up an appointment to see my doctor and talk to her about our infertility. I can't get in until December. I am starting to get a bit nervous just thinking about what I will say. I honestly don't know if I suffer from infertility. But my cycles are all over the place. From 31 days to 36 day cycles. I am one that has a hard time stretching the truth. What do I say exactly? I have read DON"T SAY THE "C" WORD. What questions is she going to ask me? What if I blow this? Am I going to have to resort to getting clomid offline? Anyone know of a place? I know I know I need to just chill. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to blow this. Thank you in advance!

my cycles are naturally similar to yours - I was told by my own doctor that cycles that vary by several days are normal and they didn't consider it irregular :/ they'd probably want at least a weeks variation to consider them irregular or maybe missing a period altogether sometimes
I'd tell them you've been trying for a year (or nearly a year), and have irregular cycles (I'd still say this). It's likely they won't give clomid straight away - they'll want to refer you to a fertility specialist for more tests first (blood tests, scan to check you don't have blocked tubes/cysts, sperm analysis)

They will likely look for PCOS first. They will check to see if your ovaries look ok and clomid may be offered IF you aren't ovulating.

31 days to 36 days is not abnormal and not all over the place. That's not going to work as a justification for Clomid unless your LP is really super short (LP less than 10 days).
You have two children so you can't go in talking about infertility either. A lot of doctors have personal opinions on things like family size and are unfortunately less willing to help people who already have children.
The key is this - you aren't going to the doctor to get Clomid. You are going there to get a baby - ANY baby, not a baby girl. If you guys have been TTC for awhile, like 6-12 months, and aren't getting pg, you need to let them know that and just see what they recommend. They may offer Clomid, or they may not. They may want to do some testing. If they don't offer it, accept that, don't get upset or anything, you're in the same boat that lots of us swayers are in. It's totally possible to have a great sway without Clomid.
I personally don't recommend the online pharmacies (the ones that deal without prescriptions, that is) because you never know if you're really even getting Clomid or something else entirely!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
