    Which artificial sweetener?

    Hi everyone!
I live outside the US (Northern Europe) and cannot find an artificial sweetener that does not contain sodium (sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin)... The brand we can get is called "Hermesetas". Which type of sweetener are you using? I can't find aspartame based artificial sweetener.

I am not sure I want to use artificial sweetener, as it gives me a headache and I really don't like the taste of it (except when in Diet Coke as I have gotten used to that taste)...

    Anyone?

    Thanks

Firstly just wanted to mention that I do not believe sodium sways blue anyway.

To answer the question, that's not the type of "sodium" that can sway - it's chemically bonded with other things and is inert, it doesn't contain the form of sodium where it has ions that can bond with things. Only sodium ions can sway, not sodium mixed with things. When sodium bonds to other elements it pretty much becomes an entirely different chemical all together.

Personally, I would skip the saccarhin and cyclamate sweeteners, they may not be safe. I have seen people getting sway opposites ingesting truly frightening amounts of artificial sweeteners anyway, I am not convinced they sway much and thus I would not like you ladies to take any risks.

I got my girl without artificial sweeteners after getting my 4th boy while using them.

Aspartame is fairly nasty stuff :/ If you search for side effects and history of it, it was designed as a drug. I had some diet coke, that's about all. And defo stay away during pregnancy.

    Thanks ladies!
No more doubts here - no artificial sweeteners for me - I am really opposed to them anyway and they make me feel sick. (Except for the Diet Coke - scary enough a cup of coffee or a glass of Diet Coke can get me through the toughest hours of the day feeling less hungry)

I do not recommend any more aspartame than what the American FDA has approved as safe during pregnancy. This is 2-3 12-16 oz. servings a day. I do not recommend the insane amounts of aspartame that they have on InGender, I don't think it's safe and I've seen people get plenty o boys while drinking it so I can verify it's no magic bullet anyway.

I've cut out sugar in my de-caf tea and was going to swop to 1 artificial sweetener instead as I can't stand tea without it. I have 2 cups a day. Which sweetener do you ladies advise to use?. I'm sure I read on here that splenda was the best.
    Thanks.
