Ladies with DS and then DD, what is the gap between them?

    Hello,

Any ladies with a DS and then a DD? If yes, what is the gap between them?
Did you TTC soon after DS to help with girl sway? How long after and do you think that helped?

    Thanks a bunch

My DS1 and DD1 are 23 months apart. I was on the mini pill until ttc and got preggo first month off of it. I wanted another DS, though and was sad at the time that she was a girl. I didn't know about swaying then.

My DS and DD are 19 months apart. We swayed for DD and purposefully conceived her while I was nursing DS. So, yeah, we got pregnant with her when DS was 11 months. I think it was swaying overall that helped, not just the gap. DS is actually DS2 (there is 22 months between DS1 and DS2, I'm not sure if that gap is really that different...but I wasn't swaying that time).

-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Many Thanks hotdogz&boyz, looks like swaying & BF helps! It is a pity I had a very hard time breastfeeding DD and had to give up after 7 weeks as I was in pain and my milk supply non-existent Not sure how things will be with DS, but looks like TTC a girl when DS will be 10-11 months maybe a choice. How long did you TTC DD and were you already swaying diet etc for a while?

I do think both close spacing between kids and breastfeeding sway pink, but above all else I would do what is best for you and your family because it's not a magic bullet!

between DS 3 and 4 - about 21 months age gap, breastfeeding - BOY

Between DS 4 and DD - 2 years 8 month age gap, tandem breastfeeding (so was nursing 2) - GIRL

My DS and DD are 22 months apart. I also have a friend who has a DD and a DS 13 month apart. I always nursed and she never does. I was also living a different lifestyle then. More exercise and less food!
