Should I DTD when I get a high or peak OPK?

    Hi ladies.

I bought the advanced clear blue OPKs and was just wondering if I should DTD when I get a high reading or wait for a peak reading?

I usually use the internet cheapies and wait for any sign of a second line - you'd ovulate within hours/a day or so after that and sperm will hang around for a few days once you've DTD so you should be covered. I guess for Clearblue as soon as you get a high reading - don't wait for peak or there's a good chance you'l miss it.

    Definitely peak!

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

    Hi,
I DTD the day I got my peak. I got pregnant that month.
I'm currently trying again. We DTD the day of my last high (day before my peak) for the last 2 months due to my shifts, we are only having 1 attempt a month so it's difficult. There must be some truth in it because DTD on a high hasn't worked for us as with my last 3 pregnancies, we've always DTD on a peak and got pregnant. Good luck xx
