Hi Englishdame!! Welcome to the group.
We are TTC in September. So still awhile for me here.
What are people doing with the yolk if they are just eating the egg whites?
Also do you think tuna mornay with heaps of veggie and pasta would be okay?

Ive been using some white rice at times does anyone know if this is ok on the pcos diet or does it need to be brown. It's just when we are eating out or order a Chinese white rice is always what I have with vegetables a small amount of sauce.

I think ideally don't eat white stuff, but it's fine to cheat now and then!!

Is dried fruit in cereal bars ok on the PCOS diet, I thought dried fruit was too high in sugar and we should stick to fresh fruit as it has a higher fibre content??
I just want to let you guys know I can't always keep up on these type of threads as they move pretty fast so whenever something like this comes up, please start a dedicated thread (which someone did but I don't think eveyrone will see it)
Those things are pretty carby. Some people can tolerate more carbs (and in fact may need more to prevent excess weight loss) but many people with PCOS can't do them, at least not regularly.
Especially with the PCO-type diets, you guys have to let go of the "magic foods" idea. It's overall intake that matters. If you've already had 4 pieces of bread, a peach, some rice, a potato, then adding raisins may be too much. Another person who has had pretty low carb intake and wants some raisins can fit them in.
So let BOTH your personal needs and also the foods you've already had for the day, be your guide.

Hi how is every one doing with their diets. I think I'm getting used to it now although im still eating the same things it doesn't matter as I know it's not forever!
Yesterday I had 4 coffees with a small amount of milk,
Lunch was a cheese salad sandwich on whole meal bread, an apple, a pear & some grapes.
Dinner was white rice, vegetables & gravy sauce, I had some grapes after dinner. I had a glass of rose wine & drank lots of Sprite Zero throughout the day.

I drink diet Dr Pepper all the time.
Yesterday for lunch I of course had my smoothie, a cup of cheesy potato soup, some
Unsalted sunflower seeds, a graham cracker with peanut butter, and a string cheese. Dinner I had turkey on whole grain bread with cheese and lettuce and a banana.
Today so far I've had my smoothie, a matzo pizza, carrot sticks, sliced cucumbers, hummus, and some unsalted sunflower seeds
