Who is taking clomid or femara for sway purposes ONLY?
I'm thinking of doing either clomid or femara for sway purposes ONLY.
Anyone else doing this or done this?

If I could get them I absolutely would. I might try (to get some from a dr) as I do have a naturally short LP, not that I think it's to blame as it never prevented conception in the past.

My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I'm seriously thinking about asking for one or the other too. Not sure which one to "mention to the doctor though"! At my age of 190 I'm guessing femara. This is my last shot so I'm going to try anything (within reason).
5 HT cycles all BFN

I am 39
(Bday was last month) and I used clomid and I wasn't monitored but I do not feel it did anything good for me at all so I will not use it again. I would maybe try femera. I feel like since I stopped clomid, my cycles were a mess for about 2-3 months with very short LP.

I am already a hyper Oer so I think I will ask for Femara if possible, as I don't want to raise my chance of multiples. I'm a pharmacist so often drs are okay with me suggesting meds.

That is because until about 4 weeks ago when we found out about that study, we thought Clomid was better based on the traditional theories of swaying. Femara has now been shown better in one study and so now people are talking about it.
Femara may be more difficult for many to get because it is an off label use - it's not as commonly used for fertility.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
