I'm takign it for the first time this cycle. I had horrible vision problems on Clomid, but so far so good with Femara. Got gobs of cm this month. (TMI?) Hoping it sways pink for me, as it's about the only thing I'm doing right now. Had to stop almost everything else for various reasons.
Ya I thought I read that it does but maybe it's still too new to know? Fx it does for you!

And no tmi here - wonder what's up with the cm?

Does it have the same pattern as Clomid for dosage too?

We have been ttc #5 for 6 months (loss last year then hysteroscopy due to heavy bleeding a few months later)
Will a doctor prescribe anything if you are trying for a 5th child? I am beginning to get frustrated at no BFP.
We always used to assume it swayed blue, because it doesn't have the negative side effects of the Clomid including drying up CM and making crappy uterine lining, but then a study was done that showed it was actually even better than the Clomid. Proving once more that we know about .0001% about how any of this actually works and making me wonder even MORE if "hormones" even have anything to do with it.
The way these drugs work is by suppressing estrogen production and then your body notices this and starts really cranking up the production to compensate and then you stop taking the medication and your body is still making a crapton of it. Kind of like revving up your engine at a stoplight and then shifting into gear when the light changes, you can be off like a shot.
This increased estrogen triggers ovulation and with Femara can also mean you make nice EWCM. For some reason no one is real clear on, Clomid makes you ovulate but doesn't help with CM and actually may hurt.
