Looking for natural anxiety remedy safe for ttc and won't hurt my girl sway
I'm looking for a natural anxiety remedy safe for ttc and won't hurt my girl sway. I've been on vitex for about a month and a half and it's helping my lpd but making my anxiety a lot worse. L-theanine helps but I'm not sure that's safe when ttc or if it sways gender? Any other recommendations? Thanks!

I don't know L-theanine is, but I have horrible anxiety that is accompanied with OCD-intrusive thoughts. I went off my medication (I had only been on it for two months) because my anxiety and OCD was replaced with severe paranoia. I did find that exercise was a natural way to relieve anxiety and I also did a bit of a "cleanse" every Monday which I had read was a good way to help reduce anxiety (it was just a salt-water flush, but it cleared my mind a lot). Still had/have intrusive thoughts, but they have gotten better (but they always do during pregnancy for me). I don't know if salt water flushes sway, but I kept doing them because they worked really well for me. It's a lot of salt though...so it may sway blue (if I remember right.)

Thank you for sharing your experience Kitty. That's interesting my anxiety decreased during pregnancy too! I know meditation helps it's just hard when you have a toddler running around!

Vitex has aggravated anxiety for several people.
I honestly don't have the data to say if l-theanine would harm a pink sway or not. It comes from tea which has seemed to sway blue for us, but we don't know if that is why. Sources are all over the map as to safety when TTC so I would be wary but it isn't proven harmful either. If you do use it, increase folic acid to 2000 mcg
I would come off the vitex and see if things stabilize. A low dose of magnesium every day may also help and won't harm your sway when taken on its own.
If you're doing artificial sweeteners I found they made me very anxious, even having panic attacks.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks Atomic. I'm on magnesium supplements already. I'm thinking about going from 2 vitex pills down to 1 a day and seeing if that decreases the anxiety but continues to help my luteal phase. Do you know if people have had success regulating cycles only using 500 mg of vitex daily?

I would advise dropping vitex totally and doing the full fat dairy/eggs/salmon or red meat combo.
It is totally up to you if you want to try just reducing it though. 8 out of 10 people who have taken vitex have seen their cycles get WORSE so I can't say if it has helped people at a lower dose.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
