Intense Charlie Horse pain in uterus - 3dpo

Yesterday I was feeling some ovary "fullness" on and off all day, not painful but definitely there from time to time. Started getting some weird gurgles, like an empty or gassy stomach, but only in my uterus. I woke up at 3 am in pain - my uterus was cramping like a Charlie horse or like a teeny tiny normal uterus sized contraction around like um... 7 cm. It started sore and worked up to that. It was somehow more painful, but less like stabby? I got up to go to the bathroom and actually threw up from the pain. Then it just eventually eased off. It was only my uterus, not my ovaries, which is what I expected. Totally centered. Wtf! Have any of you been through that before? Should I be worried? I'm only 3dpo

How sure are you about when you ovulated??

Sometimes after ovulation, fluid is released from the ovary along with the egg that then can contact your other internal organs and cause pain. Your Fallopian tubes and uterus also cramp after ovulation, that's completely normal. It is not unusual to have ovulation related pains for days after O, but I am concerned by your description that it was so bad that you threw up from it. Do you have a fever?

Another thing that can happen is that you actually have upset stomach in the lower parts of your intestines that mimic the feeling of uterine and O pains. I have terrible O pains - debilitating sometimes - and I'm very used to them, but even I have been tricked by tummy cramps thinking that they were O related till I actually got sick from them.

Bladder and kidney infections can also mimic uterus pain.

I would not be worried right now but if it keeps up or if you have any other symptoms (like fever or feeling just generally achy or unwell) I would probably get it checked out. It is possible, not likely but possible, to develop an infection in your uterus or bladder and this needs to be treated ASAP.

I've been feeling totally normal today, and the pain subsided pretty fast last night. I'm thinking its just a cyst rupture like you said and will keep looking out for any other symptoms. I'm pretty positive about O, attaching my chart. I took approximately 2 billion OPKs too
