Breakfast ideas for PCOS LE diet
I'm a big breakfast eater and can't skip breakfast. I'd still manage to fast for 12 hrs between dinner and breakfast though. I usually have toast or cereal but I know cereal is not pink friendly. Anyway, for those that eat breakfast, what's your quick go to breakfast? I need something quick because I've got 4 kids to get out the door in the morning and work lol. I'm thinking maybe cheese croissants, but can't really think of anything else. Ideas?

I was going to suggest an egg white scramble but I don't know how pressed for time you are. A smoothie with full fat yogurt and some fruit would be quick to make and easy to drink on the go.You could maybe make a breakfast sandwich the night before, like with whole grain bread, egg white and turkey bacon or sausage.

I recommend taking a few handfuls of unsalted almonds or peanuts in a sandwich bag. No preparation, no mess, so great if you don't have time. Nuts are very low carb and barely affect blood sugar.
Edited to add: this is what I do because I also can't skip breakfast. I tried it but then I'd eat frantically at lunch and dinner and end up with more calories. I was having mixed nuts and a carton of whole milk every morning when I got pregnant with my girl, and now I'm having almonds + whey protein drink.Last edited by MrsEnglish; January 10th, 2018 at 10:04 AM.

I mostly don't have breakfast but at around midday I have a boiled/poached egg and 1 slice of whole grain toast (you could hard boil the egg the night before if you're pushed for time) or full fat yoghurt and a small handful of fruit
I also find getting the kids ready in the morning distracts me from being hungry and a cup of coffee keeps the hunger at bay. I was a big breakfast person before this diet and now I'm rarely hungry in the morning.👦2013

Yogurt
Fruit
Eggs (boiled eggs)
Nuts
Cheese
When I was working I ate 1/2 c nuts or 3-4 oz. cheese as my breakfast (I gotta start doing that again). It doesn't seem very breakfasty but it would stick to my ribs way longer than anything carby (and both of them are much better options on the alternate diet than toast or cereal both of which are super carby.)!!!
