Clomid and late period
I have been in this group for more years that I can count... swaying on and off, I have been trying to get pregnant for what seems like forever.
Long story short I started clomid, no diet or any other swaying things, I decided to give this a try, first cycle didn’t work and got my period on time, this is my second cycle, i decided to relax since we went on a nice cruise to Europe, and came home expecting a period, today I’m 10 days late and BFN. I’m VERY regular and I have never been this late in my life, I don’t have any real symptoms... is this normal? I feel like this is a cruel joke from destiny... so disappointed I think this is it for me...
I just turned 40 and I have been prolonging and telling myself next month will be the last one.... when does the desire to have a baby goes away?

Clomid can delay ovulation and if that is the case, you may not even have ovulated yet. I would continue having unprotected sex till AF arrives!!! If you ovulated late, and BD at the right time, you can be pregnant but it's just not showing up on the test yet.

Hi!
Can you go to your doctor and request a test for Beta HCG (blood test)? Do you temp?
BTW, one time when I flew overseas I lost my period for a few months, even though mine has never been very consistent. I think that even if it is a relaxing vacation, going to a new country can somehow be read by your body as a stressful event.
The desire for a baby never goes away. Even when I had a newborn, I was planning #2. Sometimes when she won't stop crying, I think maybe I'm best off waiting before getting pregnant again, but that feeling goes away after maximum 1 - 2 hours.
Best wishes to you!

You will get your period only after you've ovulated! 10-14 days after for most people. So if you haven't ovulated or you oed late, you can expect a delayed period too!

Can you tell me what you're eating in your diet? Doen'st have to be too specific, just ballpark??
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
