I'm so nervous because I had a m/c 6 months ago. Hopefully this one sticks.

So, here's what I did that was pink friendly.
- no vitamins except 800mg folic acid (while TTC both boys I took a prenatal)

-Sylk as a lube (used saliva and Preseed for boys)

-LE Diet. I had a hard time with the sodium but I did really good staying at around 1500 cals and staying very close to the limits for protein and fat. (tried to stick to it as much as I could for a few weeks - not 6 weeks though)

-switched from regular Coke to Diet Coke, also ate diet foods such as Yoplait Light with aspartame, etc. to try to keep my body acidic.

-lost weight (I lost about 5 pounds from about 3 weeks before O and through the 2ww - I'm maintaining the new weight now)

-I don't really believe in the whole ION thing, but FWIW I had an Ionic Air Purifier on in my bedroom 24/7

-Took Zyrtec nightly for allergies. i have been on it for 5 years so I think my body is used to it and it doesn't dry me up much but i thought I'd mention it.

I really tried to do some of the things my sister did to get her girls. She wasn't swaying, but I remember both times she was dieting and losing weight and drinking Diet Coke. Could very well have been a coincidence that she got two girls, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

What I did that was blue friendly
-Too much sodium

-BD every other day through O because I was having a hard time getting pregnant.

-Big O for me

I don't really feel like I have a big chance of getting a girl. But, never know. All I can do is hope and pray.

Congratulations! I think it sounds great - there's no point doing absolutely everything if you can't get pregnant! Good luck x

Annabel, I think that is a GREAT sway. I personally don't think that sodium even SWAYS blue, we've done quite a few polls on O and both boy and girl moms had them and you did what you had to do to get pg - if you can't get pg, you have no chance at your DG!

Congratulations Annabel! I can tell you not to worry about dtd every other day because that is exactly how i got my DD, and i always have the big O. We look forward to hearing what sex you got.
