Should I eat more or workout less?
Hi, I’ve been dieting for about 7 weeks and exercising for 60 minutes, 4 times per week. I’m a small person and have lost about 3 pounds so far, which puts me at 17.7 BMI from 18.4 when I started the LE diet. I find that I’m so hungry on the days that I work out. Is it better to cut down the number of workouts or eat a bit more on workout days? I know that 4 is not an ideal number of workouts so hate to cut down less than that. I’m trying to stick to 1500 calories tops and the lower limits of fat and protein. I’m trying to make it about 7 more weeks to try to conceive in mid-April.
Thanks!

Atomic will probably give you an in depth answer but I think she has advised people before with low BMIs like yours to up Cals, fat and protein to make sure you stop losing weight and don't stop ovulating. I think it's ok to keep exercising as long as you increase cals so you don't lose any more weight. Hope this helps until atomic can give you some advise.

i got into a similar position, walking 60mins 6-7 days a week i ended up losing too much weight,
but exercise has such good results for pink that i wasn't prepared to drop it or cut it down so i upped my food to the upper limits of the diet and then my weight stopped dropping

Atomic will have way better advice than me but from all I’ve researched on here I’d say up your calories but try to do so with lower nutrient foods.

Eat more. Eat as much as it takes to stop weight loss. You need to up calories IMMEDIATELY.
18.5 is my minimum cutoff and I don't want anyone dropping below that. I would be happy to even see you gain those 3 lbs back again.

Thanks! I’ve had a couple of cheat days this week as it was my birthday and then my husband’s birthday and I’m already up a couple of pounds. So now I just need to figure out how to eat enough to maintain on a daily basis.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
