Folic acid question...
I am looking at 2 folic acid supplements from GNC. They both have additional ingredients:
1) GNC Folic Acid 1000 - Other Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate
No Sugar, No Starch, No Artificial Colors, No Artificial Flavors, Sodium Free, No Wheat, No Gluten, No Corn, No Soy, No Dairy, Yeast Free.
2) GNC Folic Acid 400 - Other Ingredients: Dextrose, Whole Brown Rice Powder (Oryza sativa)
No Starch, No Artificial Color, No Artificial Flavors, No Preservatives, Sodium Free, No Wheat, No Gluten, No Soy, No Dairy, Yeast Free
Which one should I purchase? Or do you recommend a different one? Thanks!
I will also be buying Nature's Way® Vitex Fruit that also has: Millet and Magnesium Stearate.
AND, Spring Valley Saw Palmetto. It also has: pure olive oil and glycerin.
Are these ok to take?
Sorry for listing more than the folic acid. I thought I would check on the rest while I was posting. Thanks again! =0)

Oh, no worries, that's fine!
Most of the time when you see an oddball ingredient in a vitamin, they are in very very tiny amounts to help either preserve, carry, or dissolve the vitamin once you take it. Not enough in amount to sway.
I think the 400 mcg folic is best, because your body can only use a small amount of folic at any one time. So for best absorption, you should take small amounts (like 400) several times a day. With the 800-1000 mcg folics, you just pee out most of it anyway.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
