    Le pcos, alcohol and coffee

    Hi,

I had a question : since alcohol can raise blood sugar, is it still a good sway tactic for suspected pcos?
Should it be then taken with a meal? On it’s own? Are cocktails, wich are often full of sugar, ok? And since long term coffee use lowers blood sugar, should I stop on the pcos diet? I was wondering. Thanks!

It is best to not worry about theories (liek blood sugar) and focus on doing what has actually worked for people (drinking alcohol for a sway.) I have a full essay explaining how alcohol and coffee actually affect blood sugar here: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...s-swaying.html

Anything with calories (and alcohol does have calories) needs to be with a meal.

Both coffee and alcohol are good for pink sways, even for those with PCOS (and again, full explanation in that link I posted)
