Also be sure you stress to the RE the hot flashes. That is concerning to me given your age.

Hi Atomic. I'm back! I saw an RE and I was all set to have a hysteroscopy in 2 weeks to check for a scarring in my uterus before moving to IVF...and I'm pregnant. I can't believe it. It was my last femara cycle and the only thing I did different was take a 6 day sample of dhea the RE gave me. Unfortunately, I know that dhea sways blue but I had low estrogen and was worried that it was causing my issues. The RE thought it may help my estrogen. Aside from that, I skipped breakfast and had an extra attempt- one on 1st positive opk and used a soft cup after, and one 48 hrs later with a low ph lube and no softcup. I was not lowering calories because my bmi is so low. I basically was swaying boy just to get pregnant. Do you think I still have a shot?

Huge congrats!! 6 days of DHEA would not have swayed blue in any appreciable way. Swaying seems to take time - it is not something that happens quickly. (I really doubt that is why you fell pregnant for the same reason - just not enough time for it to have really done much - but I never look a gift BFP in the mouth, LOL)

You always have a chance of a girl even with a textbook blue sway (which this was not, not at all.) It is unlikely that an attempt 48 hours after O had a chance at the egg, I suspect it was your first attempt that accomplished our task (so one attempt)
