    A few questions

*If my husband releases (pull out) the night before, or even morning of and then we do one attempt at night, does that increase odds of pink? Or would it decrease odds of conception?
We are both in our 20's, if that makes a difference.

*How do you wean from folic acid? I know you take the higher amount through the 1st trimester, but then say I take 4 pills a day, each 400mcg, would I drop 1 pill per week until I'm at prenatal amount? Or is this too fast?

*I'm trying for the LE diet, but it's a little difficult. I usually eat constantly, tons of junk food. Lots of fat, not much protein. Can I ease into it like starting 80g fat and work down to 40 ish or is it better to jump right in?

*Low carb veggies don't count right? How do I count fruit?

DTD one time the night before is really not enough to deplete most men's sperm counts enough to sway (not to mention we've not had good results with any of the "sperm count reducing" tactics anyway.) If you want to try it, you need to have that first release within 1-3 hours, certainly no more than 6 prior to attempt. Otherwise it probably won't do a whole lot

Yes, that's fine. Not too fast.

Yes absolutely please start up with LE Diet gradually. I think we get by far better compliance and results with it that way.

But if you give me more info about what you're struggling with, I can often help. Most of the time when people are struggling, it's because they're misunderstanding things about the diet (nearly always being way more restrictive than need be!)

Low carb veg are free and unlimited. High carb veg and fruit, count only calories, not protein and fat.

The struggle is definitely mental. I love food and it comforts me emotionally. I eat for every feeling amd its so hard to not do that

Are you limiting foods very strictly, and avoiding things you love? You likely don't need to do that.

I'm not limiting food since I read you said no food is off limits.

Great! So just do what you can do as much of the time as you can, and then when you fall short, just pick it up and move on from there. Don't try to make up for it by restricting food further, that only sets up a binge/purge cycle that is very tough to break out of. Any changes you make will only help, so even if you can only stick to your diet changes 60% of the time, that's 60% better than you were doing before. Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone 🙋🏼*♀️ IÂ’m new here! We were hoping to TTC for our girl this month but I had a smear on Wednesday and it seems to of brought on early ovulation (or maybe itÂ’s just coincidence 🤷🏼*♀️). I usually get a positive OPK 13 days after first day of AF but this month CD10.

I have been on a super low salt diet, cut out my many cups of tea a day and especially stopped eating things like tomatoes, potatoÂ’s and bananas.

Can anyone give me an idea of cut off etc and any ideas on things to eat. Iv been tracking my PH levels and have got them from a high 8/9 to around a 5/6. Any hints on how to lower it more?

    TIA

Sprinkle of Pink to everyone praying and wishing 💖

Hi Dreamingpink44 and welcome to the site! You'll get more replies if you start your own thread rather than replying on someone else's. To do that, just open one of the forums like this one, TTC a Girl forum: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...nceive-a-girl/ and then you'll see the "start new thread" option. That's the thing people miss, is that they actually have to open the forum to see the new thread option.

Your surge coming early doesn't necessarily mean you'll ovulate early.

Most of us on this site got BOYS eating that low salt type diet and avoiding foods. We have a different diet and you can read about that here: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/try...l-version.html
THe diet FAQ is here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...tml#post335985
and the second diet FAQ (which explains why sodium and avoiding tomatoes and stuff isn't necessary and doesn't work) is here:https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...s-edition.html

Timing as well is something most of us on here have tried and failed at. Science has debunked the idea of timing and you can read that here: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...le-timing.html although it's fine to start off using it if you want to. If your cycle is normally CD 14 ovulation you would want to have a cutoff attempt of either CD 11 or CD 12 for a 3 or 2 day cutoff.

pH also doesn't work at all. https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...ph-pickle.html It's normal to have fluctuations in pH and there's more about that in the pH link. If you feel the need you can use a jelly like RepHresh, Sylk, Acijel, or Replens to lower it.

Good luck and pink dust - and let me know how I can help!

Should I keep a journal of my calories, protein, and fat or would that be too control freaky? Is it better to just loosly keep track mentally?

I like you guys to track for a week or two and then once you have the hang of it, you can stop tracking. But just be careful not to gradually decrease food intake over time.
