Folic acid question
I have been taking straight folic acid during this ttc girl method.
After a confirmed pregancy I'd like to go start taking Elevit (multivitamin).
I took Elevit with last 2 pregnancies and found so many extra health advantages while taking it.
@atomic sagebrush or anyone suggest healthy way to go for one to the other after confirmed pregnancy?

I always tell everyone to start a prenatal, be it Elevit or whatever they prefer, at conception. But you should continue the higher dose folic acid or folate all through the entire first trimester. So start your prenatal of choice and then reduce the folic acid the same amount that is in your prenatal. So if you were taking 400, and your prenatal has 400, you can just switch one for the other.
If you tell me the amount of folic acid you're taking I can tell you how much to reduce it.
After the first trimester is over, please gradually wean off any excess folic acid by spacing the doses further and further out till down to one per week, then you can drop them.

It's the same as micrograms.
Since you're only taking 500 mcg you can just switch the cenovis for the Elevit.

Great! Thank you so much @atomic sagebrush
One more question...DH and I are doing the one attempt.
I am on my 4th day of high fertility (flashy face) and I predict that I will get my peak tomorrow. However, hubby has to go out of town tomorrow for 3 days!
Do you suggest BD in the morning?
I have heard your ph levels are higher in the morning(?) And I may not even get a peak.

Oh no sorry I just now saw this - when this occurs what I hve people do is have sex right before he leaves and then when he gets back.
I don't see any difference BD in the morning vs. as night. We have solid evidence that sway tactics like diet and exercise, that you do for a long time, are what really sway. None of the little last minute things (except possibly jump and dump) seem to work at all and I think it's best if you BD at th time of day which is convenient for you.

No worries at all! Thank you @atomic sagebrush
He has to leave at lunchtime today (Australian time) so we were going to BD around then.
I have another high fertility (FLASHING face) this morning.
So BD today and then again when he is back in 3 days? Even if I get a peak tomorrow morning?
Just to confirm jump & dump I should wait approx 5 mins?

Yes still BD when he comes back because OPK can be false positive. You might get a positivve OPK and then not ovulate for a few days afterwards.
Yes wait 5 min after BD before J and D.
Good luck and pink dust!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
