Not sure of overall stats, but I conceived my DD while breastfeeding my DS3 full time. He was nursing 8-12 times a day still at 13mo. Good luck to you!!

Thank you. My little one is 2 1/2 and feeds once, occasionally twice a day so wasn’t sure it would still affect a pink sway?

The stats on breastfeeding are misleading because most people a)don't TTC while breastfeeding and b) can't get pregnant while breastfeeding (since most people stop breastfeeding within 6-12 months anyway). This means that the people who conceive while nursing are not a randomly selected sample size - either they're more "crunchy" than the average person (tend to eat more heathfully and are often of a higher socioeconomic strata) and keep nursing longer than the norm, or they're in better condition and can et their cycle back sooner than the norm, or a combination of the two. And this means they're more "set" for blue than the population as a whole. Our stats are 60% of the people who conceived while nursing got girls.
So that having been said, I believe breastfeeding sways pink a fairly high amount because everything that suppresses fertiity by using the body's own natural birth control mechanisms seems to sway pink, and breastfeeding does exactly that. It's just that I cannot quantify it because people who conceive while nursing are not random, in fact they're a rather unusual subset of people who are set for blue more than the general population, and this skews the results.
I got a son and a daughter while breastfeeding and 3 boys without breastfeeding. It's no magic bullet but I do believe it's a solid pink sway, and even if you only nurse 1x a day, your body is still in the biological state of "lactating" and so you get benefits from it.

Yep, because "lactating" is a biological state with certain hormones involved and these hormones are there even if you're not nursing much at all.

I've got pregnant with 2 boys while breastfeeding. It's true first one was about 14 months old and DS2 was 18 month old. They were mostly breastfeeding at night a couple of times, but already ate plenty food. I've never got a period while exclusively breastfeeding, so i guess that if we'd tried earlier maybe it would have swayed more pink (in my case).

It's not a magic bullet, but biologically I believe it has to sway pink since it suppresses fertility.
I had a boy and a girl while breastfeeding, and 3 boys without it. It may be a thing where it helps but some of us are already doing blue friendly stuff and it's not a magic bullet.

Funny you say this...I have 4 boys so it looks like I’m one of those set for that blue lifestyle! Although I’ve never conceived breastfeeding before. Just found out we are (unexpectedly) expecting our 5th. I EBF my *almost* 9 month old so hoping/wishing/praying/ all the above we magically get some pink this time around.

Good luck Ergdunn!!! That's a close spacing too and I think both those things tend to sway pink!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
