Struggling to find iodine supplement in uk

Hi Atomic,I'm in the UK and I've been looking around and I'm finding it difficult in stores and online to find an iodine supplement, I was wondering if I ate cod twice a week would that provide enough iodine for well being of future bubba and pregnancy? Due to my skin conditions I've been gluten and dairy free, I eat coconut milk based yogurts and drink almond milk with some berries in my smoothies but I found online that milk replaces in the uk are usually not fortified with iodine, so I want to try and find a way that I can get enough but stay within pink friendly limits, I love eating eggs but usually only have 1 or 2 per week as they tend to bind me up. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
    Thank you

It's fine to have the cod, but it probably won't be enough. It only gives you about 66% of one day's worth and you can only have it 2x a week when TTC.

    Can you get iodized salt??

A lot of other foods do have small amounts of iodine- fruit, veg, some grains - so it may be you're getting enough, but if you were to find some iodized salt that may help.

I prefer a non-kelp iodine whenever possible. Kelp is worrying to me because of naturally occurring elements of some seaweeds that may be harmful to your overall health when taken in more than dietary amounts.
