    Does Hypertension Medicine sway?

I read in a couple comments that medicine for high blood pressure is supposed to sway girl. Is that true? If so, do we know how it sways? TIA!

    That's the theory.

For ladies, it may sway by reducing overall anxiety (blood pressure medicine can relax your blood vessels and make you feel less anxious, and since blue mamas tend to be pretty tightly wound this may help with the control freakishness) and for men, it may sway by negatively affecting sperm count - BUT it also may sway because men who have health issues overall and who are obese also have more daughters, we honestly do not know for sure.

What we do know is that we have disproportionate numbers of blue swayers whose hubbies are on BP medication (so they have all girls and want boys) vs. pink swayers, evne though there are by far more pink swayers.

Okay. I have a bunch of my medicine left over from my last pregnancy. I had a weird isolated heart thing happen that turned out to be nothing but they kept me on medicine for my pregnancy. I tend to run a little high anyway being overweight. So I think I'll start taking it again. They had me taking it nursing for a little while too so I know it's safe for my lo. If it can't hurt my sway and only help, why not right?

AGAHGHGHAHG NO please do not take medicine you don't medically need for swaying. NO NO NO NO NO

All this stuff is THEORETICAL. WE honestly don't know that it it sways, and I certainly do not ever want anyone taking medication they don't need for a sway (unless that medication is Clomid which is one of the safest medicines out there and very well proven)

Blood pressure is a tricky thing. When you're pregnant and during the postpartum stage, your blood pressure can go up. But your blood pressure very well may be totally normal now, and taking the medicine without a doctor's guidance might cause you to end up with dangerously LOW blood pressure. Low blood pressure can lead to fainting - fainting while you're holding a baby, while you're driving, or even just falling and hitting your head. this could be FATAL to both you and your children if it happened when they were in the car or whatever. Please, please, please, it's not worth any level of risk for a totally theoretical benefit.

just wait till you see my answer in your other post!

I could not ever, ever, ever live with myself if something we recommended on this site hurt someone. I have reason to believe that a person was killed on one of the other sway sites, and it is just not worth any level of risk pursuing things that are not even proven to sway anyway.
