I've been wondering about this and if fruit is ok as a snack on it's own (ie without a protein or fat source to slow its digestion). As its low or no fat and protein, it's a useful snack but I'm wondering if its hurting my blood sugar on the PCOS diet if I have an apple and some rock melon for morning tea. Am on 500mg met 3x a day.
