Anywhere from every other day to every few days is fine. It is really not a biggie, you're just trying to avoid both long periods of abstain and many days of release in a row.
Yes that's right - doing regular release with the one attempt is much better chances of conception than either abstain or FR, and since you're still doing the one attempt (which actually sways, unlike abstain/FR which have appeared to do nothing whatsoever) you get all the benefits without the drawbacks, if that makes sense.

Ok thank you! I’m just worried because we have never had sex every day in a row, my husband has a hard time finishing with that frequency- we are “practicing” this month. We could easily do every other day though.
So odds of conception go up at positive opk- I usually ovulate the next day (I think my head is still focused on the baby dust method and their obsession with “high” OPKs!

I would def. just skip it then. Think about it this way - the amount of attention to detail, potential for conflict and control freakishness that comes along with trying to "make" or help your husband do FR just HAS TO be that same kind of control freakishness we worry about swaying blue anyway. All for something that doesn't even work! So I'd be inclined to drop that and just roll with the reg. release plus one attempt.
Yes that's part of the reason we do the attempt at pos OPK - not only is it easy for people to know when to BD that way, but it's also a good time to conceive with one attempt. High on OPK is NOT a good chance to conceive and if you hang out on sites that do timing, you can see people go on many months, even years, trying on high OPK and skipping peaks. :/

Thank you Atomic, I really appreciate your help!! I’m trying to be relaxed but I’m naturally such a planner- even planning to relax during our attempt month in August haha! Thankfully my cycle has been super regular the last few months so I hope it’ll be really easy in August and the Femara doesn’t mess it up too bad.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
