Can a 41 years old lady take clomid or femara?

    Hello
My friend does not speak English so she asked me to get your advice, Atomic.
She is 41 years old and sways for a girl. She doesn’t have any problem and she wants to take either clomid or femara only for swaying reason.
Is it OK for her age? If yes, which is better?
    Thank you

    A question from me:
I took clomid last month, if I don’t get pregnant, can I take femara this month? Just to avoid the side effects and the chance of having twins.
    Thank you again♥️

Femara is better for women over 38 or so. No Clomid over 40.

Switching from Clomid to Femara is fine, altho we have still seen some twins on Femara.

Yes, it's the same days as Clomid

Clomid can raise FSH levels very high and this harms egg quality negatively. It also lowers estrogen more than Femara.

it can raise FSH levels very high, and since older women already have higher FSH levels due to age, it can make the egg quality go bad.
