    Skipping breakfast or delaying breakfast?

    Hi,

Since trying to sway pink I have been delaying breakfast until about 10am, and have a small breakfast of very little amount of porridge with whole milk, fruit, nuts and cinnamon .

I don’t think I am able to completely skip breakfast, but will delaying breakfast do the same thing?

Also I drink camomile tea about 1-2 times a day, does this help sway pink?

    Thanks

Yes, that's fine to just delay. Both 2 and 3 meals are equally acceptable on LE Diet. I had 3. You don't need to skip totally.

I prefer you guys keep any type of herbal tea to 2-3 servings per week. We don't know how any of them sway really or how safe they are. You can have several different kinds over the course of the week (except licorice, best to avoid that totally when pregnant and TTC) just don't have any one kind day in and day out as it may end up having an effect.

    Hi atomic,

Thanks for asking all my questions.

I have stopped eating bananas and tomatoes....though I did used to eat half a banana daily when I got my girls...

But I eat a lot of legumes since I’ve been trying to cut down on meat. Lots of black beans/kidney beans, garbanzo beans/lentils. Is this ok? Will they sway girl?

I really love cereal so I’m struggling with this, I’ve been having it 2-3 times a week before bed. I am mostly eating plain unsweetened fibre rich cereals. I hope that this won’t sway boy...

You do not need to skip bananas and tomatoes. Foods do not sway on their own. It is all about your overall nutrient content of your diet and not magic foods. I have a full explanation of why that is here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...s-edition.html

Beans within limits are fine and allowed. But foods on their own don't sway, so you need to be sure you're sticking in the overall limits of the day.

It is best to give up cereal all together if you can, because the high levels of vitamin fortification will be adding nutrients. Can you find a kind of unfortified cereal (sometimes rice puffs aren't fortified) or even make your own granola?

I feel like I answered this question before recently so if you're having trouble finding your old posts, one very easy way to relocate the questions you've asked is to go to the top of the page where it says "Home, Forums, Blogs, My Posts" and click on "My Posts" You'll then get the option to look up your old posts, both threads you've started and questions on other threads. Of course it's entirely possible that someone else just asked a very similar question but just wanted to mention it since it's something people do miss sometimes.

Hi thanks for all the information.

Should I get my DH to drink soy milk? Does that sway pink?

    Thanks

If he is younger than say 45 yes, go ahead and add in soy milk, 12-48 ounces daily (you can use soy foods for some of this, basically 3-4 servings a day of soy stuff, but if he'll only do 1 serving, it's better than nothing.)
