Thank you. I’m still reeling over the find and I’m not sure what I’ll do.

Now, for blue swayers reading this stuff and are now in a panic, what do you think you're going to do with this info?? Start shelling out massive amoutns of money for ultrasounds and only TTC whenever there is a pattern of LLR?? IF that ever happens (which is tantamount to waiting for 3 cherries on a slot machine). Most people, in most months, ovulate predominately from the right side anyway, month after month, so you're probably going to be waiting a LONG time for that. Then it would happen one measly time and if you didn't get pregnant then you would have to wait and wait around for another cycle with that pattern (again, having monthly ultrasounds at great expense)

What LLR indicates (because R = higher fertility) is a person that went from lower fertility (ovulating from the left) to higher fertility (ovulating from the right). That is what we are trying to do with all the HE Diet stuff ANYWAY is improving your overall condition and fertility. So just DO THAT. Pink swayers, try to reduce fertility, blue swayers, try to improve it. Don't then decide that you need to do these ultrasounds TOO. you don't, because it is NOT the side of ovulation per se that is swaying, it is YOUR CONDITION. The side of ovulation may REFLECT condition to some extent (with people who are the most fertile tending to O from the right and the least fertile from the left), but the side of ovulation in and of itself does nothing. that is why doctors can take eggs from either ovary and get babies of both genders out of them with IVF.

There are reasons why people go from ovulating from the right to the left, and from the left to the right. That is what we are doing with swaying. These studies are interesting and everything but the differences in sizes of the groups are like 2-4 people in most of the cases. We're talking the difference between 25 and 27 people here!!!! There are plenty of people getting boys and girls from both ovaries.

There's nothing to reel over. I promise. I've had this study on my desk for many years now and we are getting great results doing what has worked for most people most of the time.

Do what you would like, but this is not saying what you think it's saying.

Thank you, that’s comforting. It sucks because I don’t have a cycle so there’s nothing I can do but sit and think. And think. And overthink. And I’m really in a dark place fertility wise

I hope my experience might help you feel better. I've had 4 successful pregnancies and they were:
    R ovary - boy
    L ovary - boy (4yr gap)
R ovary - boy (17mth age gap, conceived shortly after weaning, light sway without diet).
R & L ovary on femara - girl (20mth age gap, full sway incl 5mths on diet).
I let myself think #2 was a girl due to left ovary CL but no.
I was on metformin and ubiquinol as well.
