Gone too far? No sign of ovulation
Hiya,
I hope someone can help me out as I am starting to panic a little bit...
I am on the LE diet now for about a month and even though It wasnt my goal, I’ve lost nearly 5lbs.
My BMI is currently 19.3.
But the thing is, normally I have a lot of (sorry for the details) discharge around my ovulation and now none, my OPK tests are still negative at cyclusday 13 (they were almost postive by now last month).
I have started taking my temperature every morning because last month I had my period only 11 days after my positive OPK...
Does anyone have advise for me on what to do?
Im going to continue the OPk tests and hope for a positive one, plus a temp rise...
Thank you

I'm not sure if this will help but I started the Le pcos diet 6 weeks ago and I had a super long cycle I didn't get my period until after 42 days. I didn't track with opks though so I'm not sure when I had a surge. I too noticed that I normally produce quite a lot of ewcm but last cycle I barely had any at all. I'm sure Atomic will be able to help you she has been so helpful to me since I joined😊

You need to eat more and stop the weight loss. Let's also add in a serving of full fat dairy daily and 4-6 eggs a week, and drop fiber if you were taking it. Be sure you're eating upper limits of fat - 50-60 g
But CD 13 without a positive OPK is really no biggie. It will likely happen soon and ovulation as late as CD 21 is still totally in normal range, and up to CD 35 is still very common.

I will introduce eggs again and eat a cup of 10% fat greek yoghurt every day (i used to eat that before the LE diet is that ok?)
I didnt know that was normal so thanks for the reassurance

I’ve just started LE diet & lost 5lbs in 2 weeks eating full fat Greek yoghurt daily and no fibre or exercise so I feel you! This cycle is currently at 45 days (after a pregnancy loss) and no idea if I o’ed although there was a day with lots of ewcm... will be following to see how you go with getting back on track

Sorry for your loss flowergirl! 😢
It is difficult because you want to sway girl but at the same time prevent weight loss. It is difficult to find a balance....
I stick to eating three times a day because when I skipped breakfast, my calorie intake would be faaaar too low.
Now I eat:
8am 2 slices of wholegrain bread with butter and jam/sandwichspread/Hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles) and 2 thin slices of gingerbread with butter.
Large coffee with a bit of coffeemilk and 1 sweetner.
Water, water, water
2pm 2 slices of wholegrain bread with 1x peanut butter, 1x sandwichspread
Cucumber, paprika and water (sometimes a cup of yoghurt)
Coffee, water
6pm potatoes/white pasta/wholegrain rice, veggies and often something vegetarian or a piece of chicken.
Glass hugo/ rosé
Water

On a day where I choose chicken over vegetarian and peanutbutter over jam:
- 34 grams of protein (dinner with potatoes, chicken, broccoli and mayonaise)
- 40g fat
Around 1200kcal
(Used MyFitnessPal to calculate this)
The thing is I eat way more carbs now than ever so I thought I was eating enough but know I dont think I am...
Thank you Atomic for your time and effort😊

You need more like 40+ g protein even without having issues with your cycle.
I want you on 50-60 g protein and fat and 1500-1800 cals minimum. You're not getting enough food intake.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
