Not sure if I ovulated

Hi Atomic

AF turned up this morning after 26 days since last one. I tested twice daily around 1 and 4pm and I never got a positive opk all cycle, wondering if my tests didn't pick up a surge, if I had a short surge that I missed or if I didn't ovulate this cycle. I've started eating eggs 3 times a week, and have increased my cals fat and protein. Feeling a bit worried that I wont ovulate during this new cycle😪

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this, thank you

I could also feel myself getting quite stressed waiting for a positive opk and was wondering if you think we should start having attempt every 4 or 5 days after my period ends? I think I remember one of my boys being conceived on a cycle where I didn't get a positive opk all cycle with clearblue digital tests.

The odds are all but 100% that you ovulated and just missed the surge. It is quite rare to have a normalish length cycle (and 26 days is normal) that did not have an ovulation in it.

The most likely explanation is that the tests just did not register the surge. Can u think back 12-14 days before AF arrived?? did you have darker but not pos tests then, or any symptoms of ovulation around that time??

I am totally cool with you guys going to e4d (either in the every 72 or evry 96 hour pattern - does not need to be those specific number of hours but that's how you count the days)

I thought that's maybe what happened. I had cramping and EWCM, and I had increased sex drive a couple of weeks ago, my test lines were starting to darken but never got equal in darkness to the control line. I think I'll do that start of with the 96 hour pattern and bring it closer a bit if we need to on the following cycle. Thank for your support and advice, and reassuring me that I likely still am ovulating😊🤗
