Having had Gestational Diabetes - does this sway?
I had my son in Sept last year and had gestational diabetes from around mid way through the pregnancy I believe.
Does this mean I am more inclined to have a boy?
Thank youSept 2019

Having had Gestational Diabetes - does this sway?
I don’t know if there is any correlation between gestational diabetes and gender but if it helps I had it with my 1st dd but not my 2nd. I ended up getting it in my 3rd pregnancy with my ds.
Atomic probably would know better if it sways though.

Gestational diabetes in and of itself doesn't sway, but having issues regulating blood sugar that lead you to develop gestational diabetes may.
Let's have you go ahead and switch to the alternate diet here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...rt-3-pcos.html (just scroll past the first couple posts to where it says "The Diets")
We have great results for swaying on that alternate diet so I would not worry, just switch over to that and you'll have fab chance of pink.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you Atomic - Is it worth getting my blood sugar levels checked to see if there are any issues? I could easily get this done at my GPs.
Thanks, VSept 2019

No. Please don't have your blood sugar levels tested. When we say "low blood sugar" we aren't actually talking about a number on a monitor. Your body does not like having low OR high blood sugar and quickly takes steps to change the levels back to normal range. So it's not something that is specifically measurable because your body always is trying to correct for it. What we are trying to achieve is the PROCESS where your body has to burn off stores of fat as fuel to keep your blood sugar in normal range by releasing insulin to lower it after eating (but all that is very complicated so we just say "low blood sugar" as shorthand)
All you need to do is the LE Diet and I think in your case, the alternate diet would be best. you do not need to have the full blown syndrome to benefit from the alternate diet, and given your history it is the best option for your sway.
All you need to do is lose SOME weight. It's fine if you never get to BMI 21. That's just where I want you to stop losing.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
